Our Holistic Approach To Specialty Coffee Makes A Difference
We are the bridge between customers worldwide and local Colombian farmers. In a complex, commercialized and non-transparent coffee industry, we aim for a more holistic and responsible approach toward specialty coffee:
Firstly, we are artisans, dedicated to small batch craft roasting, who aim to bring you the unique experience of ultra-premium, singe producer coffee.
Secondly, we desire to make a positive impact in the world around us and give back to local farming communities, as well as to our community at home in the US.
Single Origin Coffee: The Secret To Our Outstanding Coffees
Coffee lovers increasingly started following the single origin movement to achieve a purer coffee experience. Single origin coffee beans come from just one country or area, aiming for higher consistency in taste and support of local economies.
We are passionate supporters of this movement, since it significantly increases the coffee drinking experience. All of our coffees are single origin coffees, craft roasted to perfection.
Perfecting The Coffee Experience: Single Producer Coffee
While single origin coffee introduced a great innovation to the market, many coffee regions are so large that single origin coffee can still include beans from a variety of farms.
We want to go beyond and believe highest quality can only be achieved through our single producer approach: coffee that comes from just one farm!
We are currently preparing to launch single producer coffee. This will enable us to offer a level of trading transparency that is unique in the coffee market and exceeds common fair-trade policies: We call it direct trade.
Colombian Coffee: A unique experience for Coffee Lovers
There are two significant reasons why Colombian Coffees taste so good and both are closely linked to Colombia's unique ecosystem.
Firstly, the country simply has the ideal geography for growing coffee. The perfect climate allows the beans to develop their distinct rich, mild flavor that coffee lovers all over the world look for.
Secondly, due to Colombia's agricultural conditions, farmers are able grow the most flavorful and most special types of Arabica coffee beans. Arabica is harder to grow than Robusta beans, but superior in taste.
